About our club



The Zonta Club of Melbourne on Yarra is a dynamic and welcoming group of women dedicated to empowering women and girls through service and advocacy, locally and globally.
We are part of Zonta International, a worldwide service organisation advancing the status of women and girls through advocacy, community projects and fundraising initiatives.
We warmly welcome new members and invite you to attend our meetings or events before deciding to join.
Club meetings and events
Our club meets on the second Thursday of each month at 7.00 pm at the Amora Riverwalk Hotel, Bridge Road, Richmond, with selected meetings in June, July and September held via Zoom. Each meeting features inspiring guest speakers who share their insights and expertise.
We also have social events and outings so you can make friends and have fun while supporting Zonta’s mission.

History
The Zonta Club of Melbourne on Yarra is the oldest Zonta Club in Australia, chartered with 22 members on 24 May 1966.
